The Craft Box News & Happenings ~ November 2022

* We are open from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 on Saturdays.
* Our staff will continue to wear face masks and we strongly encourage customers to do so also.
* We no longer require customers to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer when entering the store, but our sanitizing station is right inside the door if you need it.
* Please continue to honor social distancing protocols.  Everyone has their own level of comfort so please give people space while shopping.

* We are restricting donations at this time, please call the store before dropping off donations.
* We will slowly begin phasing out our punch card program.  We will punch and honor any cards you have, but we will not be ordering more once they run out.
All Books and Storage Containers are 20% off!

Join us for our annual Craft Fair showcasing items from local crafters!  The fun starts on Friday, November 25th and runs through Saturday, December 10th.

Our return policy:  Items are returnable within 30 days only if defective.  Thanks for your cooperation!  We are always happy to let customers try out punches or other tools before buying.

We will be taking appointments for compensated drop-offs on Friday, Nov. 4th starting at 10:00 a.m. You MUST speak to a Craft Box staff member, please do not leave a message.  If you have had previous appointments recently, we will only take 2 from the same person in a one year period to keep it fair for everyone who’d like to bring items in.
Products we buy.

Whether you are bringing a donation or a drop-off for compensation, please inspect your boxes for pests that may have taken up residence.  If we find evidence of bugs, moths, beetles or mice, we will immediately discard the items (if donated) or put outside and ask that they be picked up (if for compensation) and we will not accept future drop-offs from that person.  Thank you for your diligence and understanding.

Please, no dumping or donations left at the building after hours or without our knowledge. Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who made items for The (Senior) Stocking Project!  We will definitely be helping them again next year, but hopefully we can start earlier and have multiple card making workshops to help them reach their goal of filling 3000 stockings.

Thanks, also, to everyone who made bags for the Assistance League of Denver to hold toiletries for assault victims.  We would love to make this an ongoing project, like our fidget quilts and reusable grocery bags.  We will continue to collect the bags and highlight the need in future newsletters.

Christian Action Guild has recently seen a 10 fold increase in request for homeless care bags.  We’d like to help by making tote bags to hold basic items like a bottle of water, pair of socks, lip balm, hand wipes, granola bars and chewing gum.  The Green Lady Bag pattern is great for this, but they’d like them to be a little smaller, cutting the fabric 13 1/2″ square is perfect, with 18″ handles.  Please bring them in by December 3rd.  Our goal is 65 bags!  If you’re not a sewist, please consider donating warm socks to go into the bags.

Our classroom is available to rent for your group gathering or class!
Rental rate for the classroom room is $25 for 2 1/2 hours.  Each additional hour is $10 per hour.  Please call the store at 303-279-1069 to reserve.
