The Craft Box News & Happenings ~ November 2017
Thanks to everyone who helped with our move to Wheat Ridge. We couldn’t have done it without you! During this season of thanks, we are so thankful for all of our wonderful volunteers and customers! Our grand opening celebration was wonderful, a lovely day filled with friends, old and new.
Join us on November 25th for our Small Business Saturday celebration. We’ll have treats and hot cider and we’ll begin our 2nd annual Craft Fair featuring handmade items from some of our customers. The Craft Fair will continue through Saturday, December 9th.
We are still trying to work out the details of classes and work space but we should have some answers for you by December. If you are interested in teaching, please call or email and let us know the particulars. If you are looking for a space to hold an event or class, let us know that too.
We have filled all the appointment slots for 2017 compensated drop-offs. We will start taking appointments again in January 2018. If you can’t wait until then, we will accept donations at any time. Please limit your drop-off to 3 boxes.
We have a collection box for Soles4Souls. They are a global organization that collects and distributes shoes in 127 countries and all 50 US states. With our help, they can provide a life-changing solution: a good pair of shoes. Even if the shoes are worn, they can be useful. We’ll have the box up through November.
October/November Challenge: Ornaments made from fluted cookie/tart tin
Our next creative challenge is to make an ornament with a fluted cookie tin. If you need the tin to get started, we have 25 here at the store to give away, just ask at the front counter. Challenge ornaments are due on November 1st, the voting will go thru November 25th and we’ll announce the winner on November 27th.
We’re located at:
