All Stamps and Books are 20% off through May 31st. Check out the 50% off bolts of fabric!
Appointments are being scheduled for November of 2017. If you can’t wait until, we will accept all donations at any time. FYI: We are not paying for but, accepting as donations: wood-mounted rubber stamps, books and magazines over 10 years old, apparel or home decorator fabric. Please no more than 3 boxes per drop-off.
Charity of the Month: Warm Hearts~Warm Babies
We are continuing our collection of baby items through May. As Mother’s Day approaches, we love to show our support for babies and families. We are excited to partner with this wonderful group of people who knit, crochet, and quilt for premature infants and babies in need. Please check out their website to find out more about them, what they need and get free sewing patterns. The most requested items are baby items. Drop off your items by the end of May and we will pass them along for you.
After our first challenge (The Ugly Dolls), we decided to make some changes. Challenges will now be on a 2 month time frame. We will announce the challenge on the first of the month (April), the item will be due by the first of the following month (May), with voting extending from the 1st week through the 3rd week. The winner will be announced during the last week of that month.
So, our next challenge is ALTERED TINS. We have tins available to decorate, so stop by and pick one or two up! If you want some inspiration, check out this link. There are so many options and mediums. Make a shadow box, story box, mini-scrapbook, business card holder or candy holder. We have lots of supplies to fuel your creativity.
All projects will be due on May 1st, with voting from May 1st—27th. The winner will be announced on May 30th.
