The Craft Box News & Happenings ~ March 2020

It’s hard to believe that March is here, typically the snowiest month for our area. Just a reminder that if Jefferson County Schools are closed due to the weather, we are also. When in doubt, check our Facebook page or give the store a call.
On Sale this month: All kits, books and patterns in our needlework area are 20% off!
The Craft Box is going green this year! We will no longer be using single use plastic bags for merchandise purchases, so please bring your own bag when shopping with us. We do have handy Craft Box tote bags available for $2.99.
Consider renting time in our classroom! We have plenty of room and also a variety of tools available for your use (dress forms, Big Shot and Accuquilt cutting machines, along with dies, rotary cutters/mats, sewing machines and more). We now have open workshop times available, please call the store to reserve your space and time. Prices vary depending on the length of time you’re here.
Changes to our punch card: we will no longer be punching new or partial punch cards during transactions where a full punch card is being redeemed. Punches will be given on pre-tax amounts.
Before you bring donations, please give us a call and we can tell you if we have the room and manpower to accept them.
Our return policy: Items are returnable within 30 days only if defective. Thanks for your cooperation! We are always happy to let customers try out punches or other tools before buying.

March is a no-take month for us, so that we can get caught up with pricing and getting items out. Please look for the date to call for an appointment in our April newsletter. We have recently updated the list of items that we will not pay for on our website, check it out here: Products we buy
Whether you’re bringing a donation or a drop-off for compensation, please inspect your boxes for pests that may have taken up residence. If we find evidence of bugs, moths, beetles or mice, we will immediately discard the items (if donated) or put outside and ask that they be picked up (if for compensation) and we will not accept future drop-offs from that person. Thank you for your diligence and understanding.
Please, no dumping or donations left at the building after hours or without our knowledge.

Warm Up America! is working with St. Benedict Health and Healing Ministry to provide adult hats, scarves and gloves to those experiencing or are at risk of homelessness who attend their weekly soup kitchens and free medical clinics in Boulder County, CO. They would like 200+ items to deliver during the winter months. They also are in need of toothbrushes, small tubes of toothpaste and dental floss. Please have the items to us by March 21.
We got some overwhelming positive responses to continue our ongoing mission of making fidget quilts for Alzheimer and dementia patients, so we will continue to do so. We have kits here if you’d like to sew one up!

Our classroom is available to rent, please call the store to discuss dates with our staff. The rental rate for the classroom is $20/hour with a 2 hour minimum.
We will do our best to accommodate any schedule requests, however, reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
