The Craft Box News & Happenings ~ June 2019

For the entire month of June, we will have 20% off of all wood mounted rubber stamps and we’ll continue to have 30% off of apparel and decorator fabrics!
Exciting news!! Starting in July, we will have an open workshop day in our classroom, that we hope will become a monthly event! You will be able to come and use all of our wonderful tools and have space to work on your projects, whether they’re sewing, paper crafting or art related! Check our website or newsletter in July to find out more details.
We so appreciate all of the donations we receive from people, but are having trouble keeping up with the volume. We pass on to various charities about 75% of what we get in from donations. We would appreciate it if you have general craft or partially used items to donate, that you find another place to give them to. Before you bring donations, please give us a call and we can tell you if we have the room and manpower to accept them.
Our return policy: Items are returnable within 30 days only if defective. Thanks for your cooperation! We are always happy to let customers try out punches or other tools before buying.

June is a no take month for us, so that we can get caught up with pricing and getting items out. We will be taking appointments again in July, on Tuesday July 9th starting at 10:00 a.m.
Whether you’re bringing a donation or a drop-off for compensation, please inspect your boxes for pests that may have taken up residence. If we find evidence of bugs, moths, beetles or mice, we will immediately discard the items (if donated) or put outside and ask that they be picked up (if for compensation) and we will not accept future drop-offs from that person. Thank you for your diligence and understanding.
Please, no dumping or donations left at the building after hours or without our knowledge.

In June, we will be collecting items for Urban Peak. Founded in 1988, Urban Peak is the only non-profit organization in Denver that provides a full convergence of services for youth ages 15 through 24 experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Our goal is to help these youth overcome real life challenges and become self-sufficient adults.
We do this by providing five essential services at little or no cost to the youth:
- an overnight shelter
- a daytime Drop-In Center
- Street Outreach
- Education & Employment programming
- Supportive housing
Our goal is to meet youth where they are and to provide them with the assistance and support they need to become self-sufficient or obtain the necessary services they need to exit a life on the streets. Urban Peak’s programs and services are founded on the principles of trauma-informed care* and positive youth development and assist youth in reaching their potential and living a successful life off of the streets.
