The Craft Box News & Happenings ~ February 2022

In February, all card making supplies are 20% off!  Items included are paper, stamps, embellishments and stickers.  Come in early to get started on those Valentine cards.

We just received 47 bolts of fabric from QT!  They are all priced at $6.00 a yard, which is a steal!  Our favorites are the Artworks Planet Scene, Playful Elephants, Home Sweet Gnome and Wildflower Farm.

Monthly Tag Challenge!!  Join us for a fun and inspiring challenge to make a tag every month using whatever creative method you choose.  Even more fun, create a tag and bring it in by the 10th of the month to be displayed and entered into a drawing to win all the tags for that month.  The criteria for February is to use hearts and lace. Tag size should be no larger than 3 1/2″ x 7″.  Everyone who enters a tag receives a Craft Box Buck.  We are looking forward to seeing your creations!  Here were the tags from January.  Dianne was the winner of all of the tags, congratulations!

Our return policy:  Items are returnable within 30 days only if defective.  Thanks for your cooperation!  We are always happy to let customers try out punches or other tools before buying.

February is a no-take month for us, so that we can get caught up with pricing and getting items out.  We will be taking appointments again on Thursday, March 3rd starting at 10:00 a.m.

Whether you’re bringing a donation or a drop-off for compensation, please inspect your boxes for pests that may have taken up residence. If we find evidence of bugs, moths, beetles or mice, we will immediately discard the items (if donated) or put outside and ask that they be picked up (if for compensation) and we will not accept future drop-offs from that person. Thank you for your diligence and understanding.

Please, no dumping or donations left at the building after hours or without our knowledge.

The Yarn & Needle Arts group that meets at the Standley Lake Library is doing a charity drive for Packs of Hope.  Packs of Hope creates backpacks full of items for children of all ages. Children receive these backpacks as they enter into foster care. The backpacks typically have everything from clothes to toys, toiletries, stress relief, and so forth. Packs of Hope creates about 350 backpacks a month and delivers them to the Human Services department of 11 different counties, including Jeffco.  Handmade items needed are baby blankets, dolls/toys, and all sizes of caps, mittens and scarves.  Handmade items are best donated in some sort of plastic bag for protection. It is also very helpful if you list the size of handmade caps and mittens to help the Packs of Hope volunteers with sorting materials into the appropriate backpack.  Thank you in advance!  We need the items here by Saturday, Feb. 26th.

We have classes once again, please look under the “Classes” tab!  We are starting slow, with just a few offerings, but hope that we can offer more and more.  Between the teachers and our staff, we have decided that every student will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon registering and masks will be required during classes.  Please call the store to register 303-279-1069.
