“The Forgotten Art of Spinning” #0619-02

Spinning is an ancient craft in which fibers are spun into yarn or thread.  In this class you will learn all about spinning on spinning wheels!  You will learn about types of spinning wheels, the parts of the spinning wheel, how to prepare fiber using carding paddles, some technical info about spinning, how to ply yarn, and finally you will get to practice spinning on 2 different spinning wheels (a Schacht Ladybug – produced in Boulder, CO, and a Kromski Symphony – produced in Poland).

Cost for this class is $25, and all materials are included.

Instructor: Kimberly Saffell

Minimum 2 students, maximum 6 students.  If the minimum number of students are not registered 48 hours prior to class, the class will be cancelled and a refund issued.  Online ticket sales will end 48 hours prior to event.  If ticket sales have ended, you may call the store to inquire about availability.
