Learn to Sew a Pillowcase

Join our pillowcase sewing class, tailored specifically for newcomers! In this small group session, you’ll learn fundamental skills needed to make a better-than-basic pillowcase.

Foundational Skills Taught:
* Making an even seam
* Top stitching
* Pressing
* French seams
* Making sharp corners
* Enclosing (hiding) seams
* Adding a decorative element (flange)

Prerequisites:  Bring your own sewing machine.  You will need to know how to use your machine, i.e. threading, winding a bobbin, and locating basic functions.  I you need help with this prerequisite, contact The Craft Box for a one on one Beginner Machine Operation class.

All materials and tools will be provided, including fabric.
