Handcrafted for Hospice
The wonderful ladies from Handcrafted for Hospice will be joining us here at The Craft Box on Wednesday March 14th, from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm for a special gathering. Handcrafted for Hospice is a group that knits and/or crochets Comfort Shawls, or personal sized blankets, to be donated to local area Hospices. They also create fleece tie-off or quilted blankets for the Hospices as well.
Come join the ladies in creating blankets, and just having fun! If you do not know how to knit or crochet, but have always been a bit curious, don’t let that stop you; They are more than willing to teach you how, and have everything needed to get started!
Yarn donations are always welcomed also. If you have any yarn you would like to donate to Handcrafted for Hospice, you may bring it by during this event. The Craft Box is a proud supporter of Handcrafted for Hospice, and we regularly donate yarn and other materials that we acquire, but for various reasons cannot sell in our store, to assist them in their wonderful cause!
Handcrafted for Hospice also meets regularly at Infinitus Pie (IPie) – 5807 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, every Wednesday 10:30am – 12:00pm, and every Saturday 10:30am – 1:00pm. If you are unable to make it on March 14th at The Craft Box, join them during any of their other meeting times. They love meeting new people, and sharing their love of knitting and crocheting, and supporting the local community.
