The Craft Box News & Happenings ~ December 2019

Our annual craft fair continues through Saturday, December 14th. Lovely, one-of-a-kind items made by our customers will delight your friends and family as holiday gifts.
With sincere appreciation, we extend best wishes for the holidays!
Holiday hours: We will be closed December 24-26 and December 31 and January 1.
Many of you heard the sad news that Colorado Fabrics closed it’s doors in November. Steve Kraft, aka Mr. Repair, Inc. had a space there that he worked out of repairing sewing machines and sharpening scissors. He also started spending 2 days here with us, but with losing his space at Colorado Fabrics, he will now be here on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. You may also drop off your machine or scissors any time that we are open and he will get back to you regarding repairs. Steve Kraft has been repairing sewing machines and sharpening scissors in the Denver area for close to 30 years. Check out his website here Mr. Repair, Inc.
Before you bring donations, please give us a call and we can tell you if we have the room and manpower to accept them.
Our return policy: Items are returnable within 30 days only if defective. Thanks for your cooperation! We are always happy to let customers try out punches or other tools before buying.

December is a no-take month for us, so that we can get caught up with pricing and getting items out. Please look for the date to call for an appointment in our January newsletter.
Whether you’re bringing a donation or a drop-off for compensation, please inspect your boxes for pests that may have taken up residence. If we find evidence of bugs, moths, beetles or mice, we will immediately discard the items (if donated) or put outside and ask that they be picked up (if for compensation) and we will not accept future drop-offs from that person. Thank you for your diligence and understanding.
Please, no dumping or donations left at the building after hours or without our knowledge.

In December, we will be collecting items for Father Woody’s Haven of Hope. We would love to give them some hand crocheted or knitted hats and scarves, if you have the time to make them. Anything that is on their wishlist will be appreciated. Check out their website here Father Woody’s Haven of Hope and scroll to the bottom to see Physical Donations.
We will once again be collecting plastic bags to make mats for the homeless starting on December 16th through the end of December. Each mat takes an average of 500 plastic grocery bags! They’d appreciate it if they are clean and ready to be used.

Our classroom is available to rent, please call the store to discuss dates with our staff. The rental rate for the classroom is $20/hour with a 2 hour minimum.
