We do take donations at any time that we’re open. Please, no dumping or donations left at the building after hours or without our knowledge. We have updated our list of items that we no longer pay for, it can be found here on our website: Products we don’t buy Some items new to the list include: large wooden items, office supplies, craft foam, party supplies and decorations, basket weaving materials and doll making supplies.
Thanks to all who brought in school supplies for The Action Center!
We want to highlight our Fidget Quilt program again, as we have a lot of supplies and would like to see the quilts get made up and into the hands of Alzheimer or dementia patients that could really use them. If you can spend a little time making up a quilt, please come by and get a kit. If you have some time to volunteer cutting squares and putting the kits together, please call or email us at to set up a time to help. If you know of someone or a facility that could use quilts, please contact us. Thanks in advance for your generous help!
