Discover a new place for your crafting supplies. The Craft Box is a Thrift Store totally dedicated to crafters. We buy craft supplies from individuals or estates and retail those items at great prices. Anything we are unable to sell we donate to charity.
We specialize in quilting, needlework, card making and scrapbooking supplies. Our inventory changes daily, you never know what treasures you might find. Talk to us about how we can help you clean out your craft room. If you love your craft goodies too much to part with them, no problem, The Craft Box is a great place to shop.
We hope you will stop by soon to visit.
The Craft Box, established in February 2012 by co-owners Liz and Sue, brings new life to gently used craft items. Affectionately known as “The Box”, they work to reduce waste by encouraging creativity through the sale of craft items and promotes a crafting haven through classes and events. In addition, the local community is supported through the donation of items, time and talent to local charitable organizations.
Lifelong crafters, Sue and Liz are well versed in crafts ranging from quilting, stamping, scrapbooking and needlework. They recognized a need for a place to have crafting supplies to be brought back to life and give new crafters and opportunity to try new crafts without an expensive initial investment. The idea of creating a thrift store geared toward crafters was born. The shop re-sells craft items brought in by customers, which are then sold to other crafters. A “crafting heaven” where crafters can send those planned projects that just didn’t seem to get done, and know that other crafters will use them. The box is also a place for passing on craft materials to charities.
The Craft Box is NOT a consignment store. Items are either donated to the store or Liz and Sue go through each item and make a purchase offer to the customer. The Craft Box sells items at prices well below current market value, making it a great place for both consumers and charities to shop for their crafting items.
The Craft Box is in the process of developing classes. We are still working out the details, but you can help us by filling out our survey at our front counter so we know what you’d like. If you are interested in teaching, please call or email us and let us know the particulars.
If you are looking for a space to hold an event or class, our conference room is now available to rent. The classroom will be available early 2018. Fees are: Conference Room: $10/hour. Classroom: $25/hour. Two hour minimum.
Please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Include the Contact person’s name, phone number, and email (if different); Group Name (if applicable); Date & Time requested (including # of hours); Space desired: Conference room or Classroom. We will do our best to accommodate any schedule requests, however, reservations are made on a first-come-first-served basis, and are only requested until confirmed via email from the Craft Box.
Crafting is a fun activity when shared with others. And it’s great therapy!
