Our anniversary celebration will be held on Saturday, October 6th. It’s always a fun time with goodie bags, free tote bags for the first 20 people through the door, drawings for gift baskets and CAKE!! Also, we’ll have some Screamin’ Deal Grab Bags of all different kinds of craft supplies on the front table!
Our entire paper crafting area is 20% off in October! Paper, albums, stamps, embellishments, stickers and much more! Also, all apparel fabric is 20% off. We have some great fabrics that would make wonderful Halloween costumes.
We will be taking appointments starting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 4th for compensated drop offs. Keep trying, thanks for your patience with our new system. You MUST speak to a Craft Box staff member, please do not leave a message. If you have had previous appointments in 2018, we will only take 2 from the same person in one year to keep it fair for everyone who’d like to bring items in. We do take donations at any time that we’re open. Please, no dumping or donations left at the building after hours or without our knowledge. We have updated our list of items that we no longer pay for, it can be found here on our website: Products we don’t buy Some items new to the list include: large wooden items, office supplies, craft foam, party supplies and decorations, basket weaving materials and doll making supplies. Whether you’re bringing a donation or a drop-off for compensation, please inspect your boxes for pests that may have taken up residence. If we find evidence of bugs, moths, beetles or mice, we will immediately discard the items (if donated) or put outside and ask that they be picked up (if for compensation) and we will not accept future drop-offs from that person. Thank you for your diligence and understanding.
In October, we will be collecting items for Denver Health’s Newborns in Need program. Denver Health Foundation’s Newborns in Need program exists to give every baby we deliver the healthy start he or she deserves. The program collects donations of cash and baby items throughout the year. Volunteers then assemble the baby essentials in Warm Welcome bags to be distributed at the hospital to new families who are struggling financially. In 2017, we distributed more than 3,350 Warm Welcome bags, each with a retail value of approximately $120. Each gift bag contains diapers, a sleep sack, bibs, socks, hats, sleepers, baby lotion and shampoo, a stuffed animal, and a book. The program also provides portable cribs and car seats for parents who are unable to afford them. The Newborns In Need program is sustained entirely through the generosity of private donors. Please bring baby wipes, wash, lotion, burp cloths, bibs, onsies, sleepers and outfits (size 3-6 months) to The Craft Box by October 31st. All items must be new and unused.

Rental rate for the Conference room is $10/hour with a 2 hour minimum. Holds up to 10 people. Our Class Room is also available to rent, please send requests to the email address above. The rental rate for the class room is $25/hour with a 2 hour minimum.
We will do our best to accommodate any schedule requests, however, reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, and are only requests until confirmed via email.

We love our creativity challenges and hope that you do too! We are challenging our customers to a very special project and giving you 4 months to complete it.
The challenge is to use a coloring book page as inspiration for your creation. The works of art will be due on November 1st and you must include the coloring book page with the item.
Size limit is 36″ x 36″ or smaller. The winner will receive $25 in Craft Box Bucks!!! Call the store if you need more information.
